   Gary Palmer, President of  The Rotary Club of Watton & District,
presented the Clubs annual Vocational Awards to individuals and groups who are
involved in voluntary community activities.

The Individual Award went to Cheryl Clayton

Cheryl received her award for her long term involvement in youth work.
She has been secretary of the Watton Youth Council since its inception and is involved
in the Youth Advice Project and the Youth Focus Group.

The Group Award went to the Air Training Corps 864 Watton Squadron

The Watton ATC has a long history of involvement in the service side of youth provision
in Watton. It is constantly in the news for the success of the cadets in most sporting
achievements. C.O. Mike Edney leads a team of dedicated volunteers
working with over 40 cadets and is shown with Rotary President Gary Palmer and
Cadet Jessica Wilkins and Sgt. Alex Thorpe.
