2009 Belgium Trip for Year 9

School
An interesting 2 day visit to some 1st World War Battlefields
again took place at the end of February as part
of a history project.
They visited many famous sights including Sanctury Wood,
the 'In Flanders Fields' exhibition, the Menin Gate,
the Dugout Experience
Passchendale 1917, Essex Farm, the Yorkshire Trench,
Tyne Cot
and Langemark. With bowling and chocolate shopping this
was a tiring but enjoyable trip with the students a
credit to themselves and Wayland.
