A few RAF Veterans from WW2 who have links with Watton returned for
one last time in May to enjoy
a weekend arranged by Julian Horn. The group visited Ken Wallis, who
demonstrated his amazing Auto giro
and showed them round his workshop and museum. The group had a visit
to the RAF Cadet Gliding
School at RAF Watton and a visit to Shipdham where they looked at the
aeroplanes before flying
over Watton and the surrounding area.
