Since
1952 Watton has had a Scout Group Over the years it has seen many
changes of members, leaders
and
the make up of the group. In 1988 Alan became one of the leaders and later
became Scout Leader and
Group
Scout Leader. Denise joined in 1995 as Assistant Scout Leader and the chidren
joined as Scouts in 1997
and
1998. Alan and Denise have given so much time to Scouts over the years
and have been
involved
in many of the traditional activities of the organisation. They are also
always to be found at shows
and
events raising much needed funds for the group. They are leaving behind
the day to day work of
running
the Scout Troop later this year and we wish them well.
