Wayland
Community High School
A Specialist Technology College
September 13th to 16th were very important dates for the staff and pupils of the school.
Following weeks of hard work by
staff, Governors and pupils, Ofsted Inspectors
were in the school to look at all aspects of school life.
As many parents
know this is a snapshot of how the school performs in
every area of its job of preparing
its pupils to learn, in preparation for entering the
workplace. Many use the results in the
decision process when deciding which school they will
be sending their children to.
With its Specialist Technology College status, improved
GCSE results and rebuilding
programme, the report is important to everyone connected
with the school.
The Governing body of the school met on October 7th to
receive the inspectors
report, which which was satisfactory in all areas. Full
details are available vis
the school of the Ofsted website
