The annual Civic Service has after
many years been celebrated at a new venue,
Watton Penticostal Church in the
Dereham Road, where the congregation was
made so very welcome by the Reverend
Roger Pawsey.
Following the dedication of the new Town Mayor, Alf Harvey,
the service continued with hymns, readings and the sermon
all based on the theme of love. The evening, attended
by
Town and District Councillors from several of the
surrounding towns, ended with a buffet supper.
