American Student visits Watton Rotarians
All Rotary Clubs subscribe to the
largest Charity in the world, Rotary Foundation.
This charity is largely responsible
for the eradication of Polio in
the Third World and also provides
a variety of educational scholarships to
help students study in universities
of their choice.
Several students on this Rotary
International Ambassadorial Scholarship scheme
are in this area and in early June,
Brittany Krupica from West Virginia in America
visited our Club and spoke about
her life and the work she does both here and
at home. She achieved a double
BA at Boston University and is working on a
2 year Masters degree in International
Ecology and Law at Cambridge University.
Widely travelled she is President
of the Cambridge University United
Nations Association and and involved
in a variety of other clubs and associations.
